Glengoyne has been described as Scotland’s most beautiful distillery – and rightly so. Nestled below the picturesque Campsie hills, just 30 minutes drive from Glasgow and Stirling and close to Loch Lomond, this traditional, hard-working distillery has been producing a unique selection of award winning Highland Single Malt whiskies since 1833.

Glengoyne is open all year for guided distillery tours, whisky tastings, masterclasses, blending sessions and unique events.

The colourful characters, some of whom have been working with the distillery for over 30 years, give guests an insight into the techniques that make Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Whisky so unique. These resident experts tempt visitors to sample a dram on the distillery tours and by prior arrangement can show them how to blend their personalised bottle of whisky.

Glengoyne is proud to offer the most comprehensive range of distillery tours in Scotland. The Glengoyne tour, Wee Tasting tour and Tasting tour run on the hour every day. No booking is required for groups of 10 or less. The Master Blender tour (where guests create their own whisky) is available by prior arrangement as is the in-depth Masterclass.

For those seeking an unusual venue for meetings and team-building activities, Glengoyne offers the perfect setting. The original 19th Century Lang Brothers Board Room, with meeting facilities for up to 16 guests, has stunning views over the traditional working distillery and beautiful countryside.
